On God's Word

The Holy Scripture is the inspired Word of God, living and infallible in every area, the sufficient, authoritative, and everlasting rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to human conscience and reason. (1 Kings 8:56; 2 Tim. 3:15-17; Isa. 8:20; Luke 16:29,31; Eph. 2:20)

On The Triune God

There is only one true God, the Creator of heaven and earth, eternally existent in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is one in essence and three in person. (Gen. 1:26; 17:1; Luke 3:22; John 1:14,18; 8:58; 14:11; 15:26; 1 Cor. 8:6; Gal. 4:6)

On The Person of Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is God incarnate, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy Spirit, is truly God and truly man, yet He is one Christ, the only Mediator between God and man. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, the miracles He performed, the establishment of His New Covenant at the Lord's Supper, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension into Heaven, and His future return to this earth. (John 1:14; Gal. 4:4; Heb. 1:3; Heb. 5:5, Mat. 1:18-25; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Pet. 2:22; John 2:23; Luke 22:20; Rom. 3:25; 2 Cor. 5:21; Luke 24:5-6; 39; John 20:27; 1 Cor. 15:14; Acts 1:11; 1 Cor 11:26; James 5:7-8; Rev. 3:11)

On the Second Coming

We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again soon to receive His bride, the gathering of His saints, to be forever with Him. (Acts 1:11; 1 Cor 11:26; James 5:7-8; Rev. 3:11)

On the Fall of Man

Man was created in the image and likeness of God but, by voluntary transgression, fell into sinfulness and as a result, sin and death spread to all mankind. Man’s only hope from the just condemnation that awaits him is redemption, by God’s grace alone, through repentance and faith alone, in the atoning death and victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ alone. (Gen. 1:26; 3:6; Rom. 5:12; John 3:16; Acts 4:12; 1 Cor. 15:17; 22,23; Eph. 2:8-9)

On the Atonement and Regeneration

On the cross, Jesus Christ became sin and died as a substitute for sinners. In his suffering and death, he satisfied the wrath of God, making full payment for the penalty of our sins. By this grace, we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential to this salvation, the fruit of which is an inward witness of the Holy Spirit, and an outward life of repentance and holiness. (Isa. 53:5; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Pet. 1:3; 1 Pet. 2:24; 3:18; Tit. 3:5; John 3:5; 1 Pet. 1:23; 1 Cor. 6:11; Rom. 8:1-6,16; 1 John 2:29; 2 Pet. 1:3; Gal. 4:6; 2 Tim. 2:25; 2 Cor 7:1, 1 John 1:7-10)

On Healing

We believe that Jesus, in his goodness and compassion heals our physical bodies, and can do so either by common grace means such as doctors and medicine, or by supernatural means. How, when, and whether he does it in each situation is up to his sovereign will. God hears and answers the prayer of faith and will answer in accordance with His own perfect will for the sick, suffering, and afflicted. (Psa. 41:3; Matt. 8:16; Mark 5:34; Luke 1:37; James 5:14-16, Heb. 4:16)

On the Ministry of the Holy Spirit

The baptism of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost signaled an outpouring of God on all Christians, empowering them for ministry to take the message of Christ to the entire world. It marked a point of transition from the Old Covenant ministry of the Spirit to the New Covenant ministry of the Spirit. All born-again believers are indwelt with the Holy Spirit at conversion, and should continually seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit, live according to the Spirit, and set their minds on the things of the Spirit. Glorifying Christ is the primary ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whom we have been sealed until the day of redemption. He distributes spiritual gifts to individuals as he wills, for the upbuilding of the body of Christ. (Joel 2:28; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4, 41; John 1:33; 16:13-4; 2 Cor. 1:22; 1 Cor. 12:11,13; Rom. 8:5; Eph. 5:18; John 20:22)

On the Church

The Church is the spiritual Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Holy Spirit, and is divinely empowered for the fulfillment of the great commission. Each believer has an integral part within the Church assembly. (1 Cor. 3:16; 12:27; Matt. 16:18; 28:19; Rom. 12:5)

On Baptism & the Lord's Supper

The ordinances of Water Baptism and the Lord's Supper are commanded in the Scriptures for all who have truly repented and believe on Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In doing so, they declare that they identify with the death and resurrection to new life in Jesus Christ. (Matt. 28:19; Luke 22:19-20; 1 Cor. 10:16; 11:23-32)

On the Final Judgement

There is the final judgment of both the saved and the lost, the saved to everlasting life in Heaven, and the lost (those who do not repent and believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ) to everlasting damnation, eternally separated from God, consigned to punishment in the Lake of Fire. (John 3:18-19; Mark 1:15; Heb. 9:27, 1 Pet. 4:5; Matt. 13:49-50; 25:31-34, 46; Acts 17:31; Rev. 20:11-15)

On Marriage

We believe that marriage is to be an exclusive relationship, a lifelong faithful union, between a man and a woman. God instituted monogamous marriage between one male and one female as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. We believe that the only Scriptural marriage is the joining of one man to one woman, and that this union should parallel the relationship between Christ and the Church. (Gen.2:24; Matt. 19:4-6; Rom. 7:2; 1 Cor. 7:10; Eph. 5:22-23)

On Sexuality

We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between one man and one woman. We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery and pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex. This also includes transgender issues of transsexuals and transvestites that transcends the boundaries as stipulated in Scripture and correspond to the guidelines set in God’s Word. We believe that God disapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one’s gender by surgery or appearance. (Gen.1:27; 2:24;19:5; 26:8-9; Lev. 18:1-30, 22-23; Psalm 139:13-16; Matt. 19:4; Rom. 1:26-29; 1 Cor. 5:1; 6:9; 1 Thess. 4:3-5; Heb. 13:4)
