We’re pleased to announce that we are going to be having a Baptism Service for those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ and are ready to follow the ordinance of Baptism. The Baptism service will be held on Friday, August 6th, at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary.
A mandatory class for those getting baptized will be held in the Welcome Center on Sunday, August 1st, after the second service. Please sign up in the bookstore. Parents or guardians of children age 12 or younger must speak to Pastor Reggie first to receive approval.
During our Baptism service, we will take communion and have a time of worship. This is an ALL-church event! Everyone is encouraged to attend, including family and friends of those getting baptized.
There will also be a time of fellowship and refreshments after the service.
Water Baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances commanded in the Scriptures for all who have genuinely repented of their sins and believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In doing so, they are publicly declaring that they identify with the death, burial, and resurrection to new life in Jesus Christ.
